Small bridges over flowing water, birds chirping, flowers blooming, pleasant weather, and a gentle breeze—this is autumn at Shenzhen's Donghu Greenway. The glass bridge stands tall and graceful, blending beautifully with the tranquil scenery. Autumn brings serenity, freedom, and beauty, making this moment feel like the most picturesque view. In October, the POE team came together, embracing company culture while enjoying a stroll through Donghu's autumn charm.
Starting from the South Gate of Donghu Park to Binglang Park, this route is not exactly a hike but more than a simple stroll. Walking through the park, the well-designed amenities also become part of the scenery. Bright phoenix flowers in full bloom inspire visitors to capture the moment with their cameras. Stone benches and vending machines are conveniently placed for people to rest and refresh. Surrounded by mountains and water, the air is fresh, offering both the cheerful laughter of park visitors and the peaceful stillness by the water.
First Section:
Lansheng Pavilion, nestled in the picturesque landscape, is the best viewpoint along Wutong Greenway. It’s a must-see spot! From here, visitors can enjoy a close-up view of Shenzhen Reservoir and a panoramic view of half of Luohu District—half city, half nature. Such breathtaking scenery is unique to this place.
Middle Section:
Spanning about 3.8 kilometers, this section connects the North Gate of Fairy Lake Botanical Garden, Shenzhen Reservoir, the orchard, and the lychee garden in Xiping Village, ending at Binglang Park. Along the way, pavilions provide resting spots for tired walkers, accompanied by scenic views of the reservoir—peaceful and relaxing.
Final Section:
This section brings you to two poetic "fairy bridges." One is the straight and slender Xianhu Bridge, crossing Fairy Lake with mountains on one side and water on the other. The second bridge is more artistic, surrounded by swaying reeds in the breeze. Standing on the bridge, you can hear birds chirping and frogs croaking if you pause in silence. Compared to Shenzhen's fast pace, this place feels like a serene haven.
Wutong Greenway truly deserves its reputation as Shenzhen’s most beautiful greenway, with countless hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
Amid the vibrant colors of autumn, the POE team embraced the lively and dynamic beauty of the season. Autumn brings the warmth of the first cup of milk tea, the joy of growth, and the fulfillment of teamwork. This golden season, filled with growth and harvest, became even more enchanting and vibrant with each POE member's presence. In Donghu’s autumn, surrounded by nature’s brilliance, we relaxed, united, and worked together to build an outstanding team.
