2024 Shenzhen Bay Hiking in March
Shenzhen Bay, a place brimming with vitality and energy, not only boasts unique urban scenery but also hides a beautiful seaside greenway. This greenway meanders along the coastline, providing an excellent destination for hiking enthusiasts. Here, you can temporarily escape the hustle and bustle of the city and have an intimate encounter with nature.
On March 30, 2024, at 2:30 PM, the POE team gathered at Shenzhen Bay's Sea World, where we took a group photo underneath a large ship as our departure ceremony. After capturing the moment, our journey began.
As part of Shenzhen's most famous urban greenway, the route features a smooth path. On the left, there are lush trees and flowers, while on the right, the blue-green sea stretches out, creating a perfect setting for hiking. The entire journey takes about two to three hours, with a reasonable duration that doesn't demand excessive physical exertion—a well-balanced exercise for the body.
Starting from Sea World, we strolled along Shennan Avenue until we reached Shenzhen Bay Park, enjoying the pleasant sea breeze by the seaside. When the blue sky and white clouds meet the vast sea, Shenzhen Bay becomes an awe-inspiring sight. Passing through the Fishery Port Central Park, entering the park reveals the sea, with numerous fishing boats anchored at the harbor. Walking along the coast leads to an open pier, where the boundless sea unexpectedly comes into view, stunningly beautiful.
Along the way, we passed by the Water Viewing Corridor and the Shenzhen Bay Observation Bridge Park. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the Sunrise Theater faces Shenzhen Bay, with a large expanse of purple Verbena flowers blooming along the curved flower beds, creating a starry landscape.
The 26-meter-tall Shenzhen Universiade Torch Tower, constructed by stacking books, serves as the city's third iconic landmark, symbolizing the "Light of Shenzhen."
White Egret Slope Book Bar, often referred to as "Shenzhen's most beautiful seaside book bar," is a glass house book bar facing the sea.
Finally, we reached the Futian Mangrove Nature Reserve Bird Watching Platform, completing the entire journey along Shenzhen's most beautiful coastline. Facing a 15-kilometer route, the POE team faced the challenge together, overcoming physical fatigue and difficulties. Encouraging and inspiring one another, we maintained a positive attitude and unwavering belief, strengthening team cohesion and collaboration.
We will continue to uphold the team's enthusiasm and positivity, embracing more challenges, and collectively creating a brighter future. Whether in work or life, we will uphold the spirit of teamwork, support one another, strive together, and achieve greater goals.
